IVF/ICSI Treatment

IVF / ICSI

In Vitro Fertilization

The two most common ARTs for successful conception are intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) and in vitro fertilization (IVF).With the exception of how the egg is fertilized, the processes are the same.While ICSI involves injecting specific sperm directly into the egg, IVF allows the sperm to enter the egg on its own.

What is IVF/ICSI Treatment?

The fertility procedure known as in vitro fertilization, or IVF, entails fertilizing an egg in a lab dish with sperm outside of the body. This is accomplished by putting sperm and eggs in a specialized dish so that fertilization can occur. The resultant embryo is returned to the uterus for implantation after fertilization.

As an alternative to letting the sperm fertilize the egg naturally, intracytoplasmic sperm injection, or ICSI, involves inserting a single sperm straight into the egg.

Couples experiencing infertility for a variety of causes, including endometriosis, ovulation problems, poor sperm motility or count, blocked fallopian tubes, or infertility that cannot be explained, can benefit from IVF/ICSI. These therapies are a good choice for infertile people and have assisted numerous couples in realizing their goal of becoming parents.
